Mission Statement
The Facilities Planning and Construction Division is responsible to the Vice President of Business Affairs and Economic Development for the planning and construction of all physical facilities of the University of Florida and the management of its space and physical resources. Together, these functions underlie a continuing responsibility to provide the facilities necessary for the fulfillment of academic research and clinical needs of the University within the resources available, while improving functional efficiency, economic effectiveness, aesthetic appeal and maintaining flexibility for future change and growth. Facilities Planning & Construction is also responsible for all design, project management, space and building data management for the six colleges comprising the Health Science Center. Directions:
The University of Florida is located near I-75. Take Exit 387 off of I-75 and drive East on Newberry Road about 5 miles. Newberry Road changes into University Avenue. The campus will be on your right. Facilities Planning is located on Gale Lemerand Drive which is south of University Avenue.
